Part time Triathlon Development Officer (Hertfordshire)

(£8000 per annum based on 46 weeks per year, 12 hours per week, six weeks holiday to be taken to coincide with school holidays)

British Triathlon is seeking to recruit a self employed individual to work within the County of Hertfordshire as part of Triathlon England East. Covering the County of Hertfordshire with support of the Regional Development Manager the individual will be working on a variety of projects including contributing to the development of the Triathlon England East County and Regional Plans.

We are looking to appoint an individual with an understanding of Sports Development to join this forward thinking team. The role presents a great opportunity to play a key part in delivering development programmes, through strategic partnerships.

Key targets for the role include:

· Increase the level of participation in triathlon and related multi sports events within the county.

· Increase the number of 8 – 24 year olds introduced to triathlon

· Increase the number of accredited clubs within the county.

· Increase the number of members of triathlon clubs.

· Run events within the county
