28 of the region's most promising juniors took part in the afternoon bowling event at Chelmsford's TenPin bowling alley. The afternoon started out quite worrying for the organiser who had told everyone to go to Megabowl wheaeas the directions brought us to Tenpin bowling. A few worried minutes before they confirmed our booking and we were underway.

The older boys took their lane and promptly dropped the bumpers to "play the game properly". The bumpers soon went up again when they realised the young girls next to them were richly outscoring them.

Those invited had all finished first, second or third in the Eastern Region Race Series and were treated to two games of bowling before receiving their awards from Ceri Winter our Regional Development Manager. The children had all performed brilliantly through a long and arduous season and represented the cream of youth triathlon in the Eastern Region. The parents were also recognised with a well deserved round of applause from the children for carting them up and down the M11, A12 and points between.
