8 August 2010 - Open Water Swim

Simon Edwards of Active Outdoor Sport has organised an open water swim at Sea Palling, North Norfolk on 15 August. This is a great venue and a blue flag beach. Entry form here or via entry central here.

Also, he has 5 second hand wetsuits available for people between 5'0" and 5'9" high weighing between 48 and 58kg. If you are interested contact him here

The children's league has now been updated following Upminster, Cambridge and Norwich. The Cambridge results aren't actually available although the league update does reflect them.

The entries for the Eastern Region Relays have now closed and it's time to complete full team details if you haven't already. Race information including the team entries are under the relay tab.

19 June 2010 - Eastern Relays Gains Qualitymark

British Triathlon have announced that the Eastern Region Relays has passed its Qualitymark event accreditation criteria to become a level 1 quality event. This was done as part of a pilot exercise and the relays are one of 8 races across the country that have achieved the status.

I am pleased to announce that the Human Performance Unit from Essex University will be manning a stall at the relays. Further they will be issuing two spot prizes of bike or run based performance tests to those who visit their stall. Read more on the Relays tab

Some clubs have been trying to enter a number of teams under the same name and have experienced problems doing so. An alternative would be to complete the mass entry form and email it, sending a cheque by post separately. more information under the Relays tab

3 Jan 2010 - Children's Race Series 2010

Debby and Vic Rae, league organisers for 2010 are now accepting requests for races to be included in the race series. If you wish your race to be considered please email juniorleague@btinternet.com. For your race to be considered you must agree to run the race to British Triathlon guidelines for junior events, use the British Triathlon age groups (ages as at 31/12/10), be able to produce the results in tabular format (not PDF) to include name, sex, age, time and club name.
